Every year, I find myself once again looking for the perfect pumpkins for my porch and walkways. These pumpkins usually are not perfect at all. I like them lopsided, with spots, and always with stems. These wooly pumpkins are my way of bringing them into the house without the fear that they will rot suddenly and leave a terrible mess in an antique bowl or basket. You could make one, or both, or a pile of them to mound in a large basket. They will be a cherished fall addition to any home.
