Welcome to Installment #1 of Kim Diehl’s Mystery Stitch-Along! Read below to find directions for cutting and piecing fabric.

Cutting

From the assorted print scraps (not the bitty bricks), cut:

  • 12 rectangles, 1 1⁄2" × 2 1⁄2"

From the assorted cream scraps, cut:

  • 24 squares, 1 1⁄2" × 1 1⁄2"

Instructions

Using Simple Whatnots III, refer to the Making Waves project and follow “Piecing the Flying-Geese Units” on page 108 to piece 12 flying-geese units.
