Touchable, Do-able Wool Appliqué Projects

Touchable, Do-able Wool Appliqué Projects

One of the thing I love most about Piece O’ Cake designs is how  Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins spin familiar elements into so many new designs and projects. With their latest book,  Wool Appliqué the Piece O' Cake Way, they make use of felted wool (now available in a rainbow of colors)  for fusible appliqué that results in touchable, do-able projects.

Becky & Linda have written an entire book combining felted wool appliqué with their signature needle-turn technique, bright colors, and cheerful style to make wall hangings, table runners, and useful little items for yourself or for gifts.

Look at all these colorful fruits in fusible wool felt appliqué!

And using the same fruit templates, you could also go on to make these cheery kitchen quilts...

...or a fun zippered pouch using  Premium Clear Vinyl to store your appliqué supplies.

Make yourself a strawberry pincushion to go inside your pouch! This would make a great Christmas tree ornament, too.
