Pat Sloan's Tantalizing Table Toppers

Hi my friends!

One of life’s greatest pleasures is having great friends and family to visit with. Maybe sit and have coffee and cookies, or enjoy a mug of cocoa with cake. When creating the projects for Pat Sloan’s Tantalizing Table Toppers, I thought about the super cute places we sit and enjoy, how would they be decorated if we added a table topper or sweet runner?

Each project has an inspiration, kicking off with coffee at a classic Italian Cafe. My runner is inspired by tile work using right reds, greens and yellow fabrics.

The quilting accents the shapes with beautiful flowers in an echo repeat. Table runners are a wonderful way to practice different quilting designs to bring out the shapes.

The braid is such a fun technique to do. It is great in the table runner. Make it longer if needed for those big farmhouse tables!

Winter Bliss, when we can get nice and cozy with our decorating! This table topper is nice and big, I use it on my round dining room table. It is also excellent as a scrap buster.

Select 2 color families, then a 3rd high contrast color for the chain. I can see a lovely summery version in blue and yellow!
