Stunning Stitches for Crazy Quilts Blog Tour Kickoff!

Posted by Kathy Seaman Shaw on Jul 8th 2019

Good friends, a good book, and a nice cup of tea… what could be better!?

Well, if the book were free… that would be really great! So, how about a chance to get an ebook for free? How about nine chances? If that sounds appealing… then get ready, we are having a super blog tour kicking off today!

You can win an e-copy of Stunning Stitches for Crazy Quilts by me, Kathy Seaman Shaw. Don’t crazy quilt? Don’t embroider? Well, you might be convinced to begin after checking out the reviews of this book over the next few days. The use of marking templates (stencils) makes all of the stitching quick, easy, and the results are … well, “stunning.”

The book is loaded with instructions on how to create the simple embroider stitches in fibers and threads, and there are 480 seam designs to get you stitching quickly.

Each seam is diagramed in full color, and a gallery of sewn seams is also included to inspire your own creations.

The blog tour will run from July 8th until July 16th. Each day, a different blog or internet site will feature Stunning Stitches for Crazy Quilts and post about that person's perspective on the book—PLUS each stop will have a drawing for an electronic copy to be given away to a lucky reader. You will need to leave a comment after the post, and a single name will be drawn each day. The winning folks will be emailed with information on how to claim their ebook prize, so be sure to include your email in your comment if you will be replying anonymously. You can enter once a day at each site... so if you visit everyone, you'll have nine chances of getting an ebook free! You can enter C&T Publishing's giveaway HERE

Even if you don’t win a free book, just spending time at each of these wonderful sites is a WIN for sure. These ladies really love their needle arts, and their work is inspiring! While each is unique in their chosen art and style, all have successfully captured their love of stitching and enjoy sharing with others. So, enjoy the tour!

P.S. If you have enjoyed the seam photos in this post… they are just a few of the 480 in the book!
