Scrap Quilt Secrets Blog Tour Kickoff!

Scrap Quilt Secrets Blog Tour Kickoff!

Posted by Diane D. Knott on Mar 21st 2016

Today is a day that I’ve looked forward to for a very long time! I’m so excited to finally be able to share my book Scrap Quilt Secrets with all of you! My two passions in life are quilting and teaching. I put my heart into this book. It is filled with many of the secrets and strategies that I use for making scrap quilts.

Citrus Squeeze

I’ve created the S.C.R.A.P.S. system (style, contrast, repetition, accent, palette, and selvages). Each secret is demonstrated through three quilts to show how to apply these concepts.

Some of the quilts are made entirely of scraps, while some feature the smallest of scraps within the design. I share the process of assessing your scraps and then making choices that will result in a quilt you can love for a very long time!

There are a variety of quilts, everything from crib to queen size, easy to complex, and row quilts to a medallion. Each one includes techniques and tips that will make the process painless. I hope these scrap secrets will forever change the way you look at scrap quilting!
