Just for You–Selfish Sewing with Your Favorite SewCanShe Bloggers has a deceptively simple premise: make 24 sewing projects (2 for each month) that are just for you. Not for your friend, your daughter, your sister, or your grandma; just for you. As women and sewists we love to make things for other people, but how often do we remember to take time for ourselves as well? This book encourages you to do just that.
And as part of their mission to spread selfish sewing, the wonderful women at SewCanShe hosted a Sewlebrity Sewalong! They asked some of their favorite sewing bloggers to each make a project from the book, and the results are both stunning and inspiring. The women have been having a good time choosing fabric, personalizing the projects, offering helpful hints, and learning new skills.
