Starting out in the quilting world as a quilt representative selling quilting supplies, Margaret never dreamed she would write a third book; nor did she imagine she would be featured in other publications, lecture all over the United States, and appear on such TV programs as Simply Quilts and The Carol Duval Show. She was also a featured quilter in Jean Wells' Through the Garden Gate. Numerous quilting books have been photographed at Margaret's home, and her home was featured in American Patchwork and Quilting (December 2003).
Margaret always believed people should reach for the stars. She warned, however, when you do take hold of your star, be prepared for a journey of incredible experiences.
Margaret passed away in 2008, after a long battle with cancer. She will be missed by all who knew her.
