Kathleen Jasperson Whiting has been sewing for as long as she can remember. Her mother and grandmother always had a quilting project going on, so naturally quilting became part of her life. Kathleen is from Boise, Idaho, and has lived the past 35 years in a small town in the Utah mountains where she raised 5 children and now is grandma to 5 granddaughters and a grandson. Sewing, quilting, designing, and decorating are her passions.
In 2010 Kathleen was named the first McCall’s Quilting Quilt Design Star. She has won numerous awards for her quilts, and her designs have been published in several magazines - American Patchwork & Quilting, Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting, Quiltmaker, and McCall’s Quilting.
