Amy Colleen Robertson

Amy Colleen Robertson's greatest passions are reading, art, and crafts of any kind. She graduated from Brigham Young University as an English Literature major in 1997.  She married her husband, Tim, the following year. In 2000 they moved to their current home in Kaysville, Utah. For nearly two decades, Amy stayed at home to raise her growing family, which eventually came to include four boys. In 2017 she took a job in teaching and sales at a local quilt shop. Almost immediately, she found herself drawn to the long arms. She started her long arm quilting business, Dappled Things Quilting, out of her garage in early 2018. Amy met Dara at the 2019 Utah Quilting and Sewing Marketplace, where Dara was a teacher. Their collaboration on this book is one of many wonderful byproducts of that meeting.
