I have a large stash of fabrics, some years old. I prefer designing my own quilts & use the wheel in choosing fabrics when I'm at home. If I use a blue fabric I lay the fabric next to the blue area of the wheel . I can see at a glance which blue spoke my fabric belongs to. Sometime I use the 3 in 1 tool.
