Sue Bleiweiss is an award-winning full-time fiber artist who has been following the modern quilt movement from the sidelines for many years. After developing a body of work steeped in whimsical imagery and bright bold saturated color she finally made her first modern quilt in 2016 and was rewarded with a first place ribbon for it in the appliqué category at QuiltCon that same year. 

The author of ″The Sketchbook Challenge″ and ″Colorful Fabric Collage″ she has written numerous articles for many internationally published quilting magazines. Her television appearances include Quilting Arts TV and The Quilt Show with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims.

Widely recognized for her signature style of quilting and design she loves to teach both in person and online and share her experiences and knowledge with other quilters. She lives in a beautiful little New England town in Massachusetts where she spends her weekends hiking or canoeing along the Nashua River with her husband Scott.
