Make your own Harriet's Journey

Make your own Harriet's Journey

Posted by Jennifer Chiaverini on Jan 13th 2021

Harriet’s Journey. Machine pieced and appliquéd by Jennifer Chiaverini, machine quilted by Sue Vollbrecht, 2019, Wisconsin, USA. The “Lucy’s Collection” fabrics by Jennifer Chiaverini used in this quilt were provided by Red Rooster Fabrics.

As my longtime readers know, and as my previous six pattern books from C&T Publishing will attest, I enjoy making the quilts featured in my novels.

I hope you’ll enjoy making your own version of Harriet’s Journey. The one hundred 6˝ (finished) blocks you’ll find in this book are the same size as those in Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler and the Loyal Union Sampler, so you can swap favorite blocks between the three quilts to create a wonderful new sampler of your own. I hope you’ll find your time with Harriet’s Journey enjoyable and worthwhile, and that you’ll proudly share your creative endeavors with your own circle of quilters.
