Fun with Fun & Funky Cross Stitch!

Something I noticed immediately about Fun & Funky Cross Stitch is the variety of different types of images and the number of different designs that appealed to me. Maybe it's because my formative years were spent in the 1980s with those cassette tapes, Space Invaders references, and pop art cartoon-like images. But this book is so much more than retro!

The sugar skull image for Dia De Muertos and the nighttime city scapes in the travel-themed London to Paris are quite elegant!

I'm going to teach my niece to cross stitch with something small in the An Artistic Touch chapter.

But I know her goal will be one of the enchanting unicorns in Believe in Magic.

There's something for everyone and something for every spot I have in my crafting window! The projects all come with estimates for how much time they'll take. Some are as little as 1 hour. Others are really hefty projects I can work on for a while and really sink my teeth into. The charming animals in Check it Out are ones I could live with while I plan 10 to 15 hours of stitching time.

But now I have to figure out where to start!
