Sue Beevers

Sue Beevers knows her life is a creative journey. Playing with fiber all of her life, Sue started out as a weaver, dyer, and spinner, which remain her main loves. She also sews, knits, crochets, and makes lace.

Sue says her life revolves around being outside. Her major interest is in the natural cycles in the world-the seasonal changes and the cycles of growing things.

Her creativity extends into art and music. A music teacher at Hamilton College in Upstate New York, Sue is a cellist. She was also a dedicated painter before she discovered fabric. Her biggest kick in life is to watch people take something they already know and look at it differently. It's what she dearly loves.

Sue has been married to David for more than 30 years. She has two grown children and two grandchildren. She teaches quilting, weaving, and other fiber arts internationally and has designed a line of fabric for RJR Fabrics.
