"This gem of a DVD will have viewers rushing for their bead pots. Mary Stori, an accomplished quilter, demonstrates very clearly everything there is to know about beading quilts. The information in this DVD is presented in a logical order, first focussing on bead types, equipment needed and the basic securing stitches.

Stori demonstrates the basic bead back stitch which forms the backbone of most of her work. She then progresses to Scatter Stitch, the more random Zigzag Stitch, Fill Stitch, Arch Stitch and Lazy Stitch. Her Washer Nut stitch wherein she uses small beads to anchor larger beads, charms or buttons is versatile and quick to execute. Stori finishes the lesson with the more complicated Bead Embroidery, Lettering and Dangles, but her clear explanations and relaxed charm make even these techniques seem easy. Throughout the lesson Stori peppers the commentary with useful tips.
