"...kits for making gift boxes, tags, and embellishments. I tried out the one titled "Celebrate", which is intended for Christmas gifting and giving...They also carry other kits in different colorways, for other occasions. These kits include "Life" (botanical theme); "Lolli" (bright, fun colors and patterns); "Lively" (purples and blues in floral patterns) and "Luxe" ( a more elegant style). The patterns are all original and are based on those from fabric designer Jennifer Sampou (a designer and executive at Robert Kaufman Co.) In fact, it almost appears that the cardstock was printed with a digital version of fabric- you can see the fabric texture on some of the element.s...I loved the patterns. They are unique and contemporary; this is what initially caught my eye. And they do go together quickly and easily...You really do need to use adhesive to add stability (the instructions do mention this)... The price is good for the number of boxes and envelopes that you can construct. The patterns really are lovely and unique. The instructions are sufficient. You can have lots of fun dressing them up with ribbon and other festive embellishments..."

"The Gift Box Studio's “Celebrate” set is Christmas themed and comes in book format with 24 pages. Each piece is patterned on both sides, as are the embellishments. The Celebrate set includes: three take out boxes, five pillow boxes, two cube boxes, two slider boxes, interlocking envelope, a lidded box and a pouchette. In all it comes with thirteen gift boxes, nineteen gift cards, tags and envelopes and over one hundred embellishments. Assembling the Paper Gift Boxes Be aware that once you start popping pieces out the pages become flimsy and when closing the book you may accidently bend other patterns. Punching everything out and storing them in a box may be the best solution to prevent that from happening.  No cutting is required; you can simply pop the pieces you like out. You wouldn't know it by the thickness of the paper but it's been recycled, which is an incentive for those that are going green. The choices are numerous and truly unlimited, as the inner page states. The back page includes directions to assemble the boxes and envelopes. The front and back cover shows projects already put together  for generating ideas. Pros and Cons of the Gift Box Studio "Celebrate" Set  I chose an easy one for my first foray into box folding and was surprised to find it fairly simple to put it together. The boxes and envelopes are a great way to box up small, delicate trinkets. They would also make cute decorations for your Christmas tree, nestled among the limbs. The paper is thick and sturdy so you could quite possibly re-use these a few times, turning the boxes inside out and using the other patterned side. Each piece is acid and lignin free so you won’t have to worry about staining or fading if you choose to keep paper in them. As I mentioned before the projects are great for personalized gift giving but you should be aware that it can start to feel overwhelming when it comes to choosing what goes with what. I feel that because the patterns and tags are double sided it detracts from a pleasurable crafting session, in that you have a lot to look at and so many pieces. Choices are great but too many takes away from the experience."
