"Mary Stori brings you 16 decorative wool projects small enough to take with you on holidays. This would be a great book for ideas for projects with your children and grandchildren. There is a mixture of delightful folk-art and simple contemporary designs which use easy felted wool applique finished with blanket stitch and embellished with buttons and beads. This is a really addictive technique and the projects are fun and achievable so once you've started you'll find yourself wanting more!~

Review   British Patchwork & Quilting - June 1, 2008
“A book of 16 projects, small wall hangings, 'table toppers', cushions made with felt. Instructions for felting wool are included but the author expects most readers will use ready made felt. The items are made with double layers of felt, the top layer is stabilized, embellishments are added, and then it is attached to the second background layer. These colorful projects would make delightful gifts but require careful work. The techniques taught include using adhesives ad choosing suitable threads. There are excellent diagrams on beading and tips on arranging buttons. A pullout sheet of templates is included.”
