Review   Patchwork & Quilting - December 1, 2007
"A delightful book with 90 designs covering 17 projects with an overall colourful and folksy look. The designs use scrap checks and warm colours, which look simple but are sometimes surprisingly intricate. A Log Cabin quilt, surrounded by applique trees in the border is a typical example of the style. All the applique is attached with fusible web and sewn with decorative stitches. There are many small projects--coasters, mini tree skirts, whimsical Santas and small conical trees in plant pots decorated with buttons. Thrree separate sheets of patterns are included."

“…If you like me and can't get enough of Kim's designs, then you'll simply love this wonderful book filled with 17 projects to transform your home into a 'cosy' retreat at Christmas. Create a quilt adorned with appliquéd presents or start stitching the Christmas Tree Wall Quilt-it's perfectly simple and it is sure to delight the kids with its charming appliqué images. The Santa tea towels are lots of fun and I thought the Christmas tree table runner was an excellent project for those with little time on their hands. My favorite project are the Holiday Coasters-easy to make from wool felt. Kim gives nine different designs to create, meaning you can whip up a few for family and friends.”
