Biography:
Charlotte Warr Andersen is an avid and well-known quilter. She is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah. She learned many needle skills from her mother, but most of her quilting skills were self-taught or acquired by good observation. She lives with her husband, Eskild, two of her four children, and three dogs, Scruffy, Hugo, and Legion.
Most known for her pictorial quilts, Charlotte has authored two previous books: Faces & Places-Images in Appliqué and Focus on Features-Life-like Portraits in Appliqué. Stitching a portrait is still her favorite pastime.
Charlotte travels to teach her stitching and quilting methods. Currently, she is serving as the president of the International Quilt Association.
