Biography:
At age 23, Kim took her first quilting class and was immediately hooked. She began designing professionally in 1996, when her pattern company, Little Quilt Company, made its debut at the Quilt Market in Minneapolis. In addition to designing quilt patterns, Kim designs fabric for Andover/Makower and works with Leo Licensing, which licenses her designs for nonfabric products. Kim has authored several books with C&T Publishing. Kim is from southeastern Wisconsin, where she lives with her husband, Gary; her sons Ben, Sam and Gator; and her dog, Rio. Her son Max attends college in Minnesota; her daughter Cody lives nearby, and her daughter Ali lives in Portland. Kim's stepsons, Gary Jr. and Dax, also live nearby, and her stepdaughters, Tina and Danielle, live in Phoenix. Visit Kim's web site at www.littlequiltcompany.com
