Since its founding in 1983, C&T Publishing has become the industry leader for providing exceptional books and products to the quilting, paper craft, and fiber art markets throughout the United States and internationally. Consumers purchase our products through quilt, fabric, and craft stores; book, gift and museum shops; scrapbook and paper craft stores; and book clubs.

CEO Todd Hensley, CFO Tony Hensley, publisher Amy Marson, and an enthusiastic staff, strive to identify emerging trends and new craft markets in order to provide the discerning consumer with access to cutting edge products and tools.

2002: C&T joined forces with Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins of Piece O' Cake Designs, well-known for their fun, fanciful quilt projects. C&T is now the exclusive publisher and distributor of Piece O' Cake's books and patterns.

2005: C&T debuted a line of paper craft products called Create & Treasure®. This collection includes books for the scrapbooker, altered book artist, card maker and others whose primary medium is paper instead of fabric (although there is a good deal of crossover). Industry leading authors in the Create & Treasure® line include Jan Bode Smiley, Sue Astroth, Jan Mollet Evans, Ann Krier. Most popular with industry critics and consumers alike are the Ready-to-Go! Blank Board Books, which are acid-free no-prep alternatives to altering a pre-printed book.

2006: C&T will publish over 70 new books and products on quilting, paper crafts, embroidery, dollmaking, and other fiber crafts.

C&T Publishing received the Craftrends Award of Excellence for fast2fuse® Double-Sided Fusible Stiff Interfacing and the Award of Excellence in the Quilting/Sewing Books category for Coloring with Thread by Ann Fahl.

C&T authors are known as the best of the best in the quilting industry, and include such stellar names as Alex Anderson, Barbara Brackman, Harriet Hargrave, Lynette Jensen, Nancy Johnson-Srebro, Jean Ray Laury, Ruth B. McDowell, Judith Baker Montano, Yvonne Porcella, Elly Sienkiewicz, and Jean Wells. Many have been recipients of top quilting honors, such as the International Quilt Festival's Silver Star Award, appointment to the Quilters Hall of Fame, or inclusion in 1999's list of "The 20th Century's 100 Best American Quilts."
