Spring Quilt Market recap
We hope you had as wonderful a time as we did at Market in Minneapolis. Our booth was hoppin' – we sure love seeing our customers and colleagues! Of course the big news was the launch of our new imprint, Stash Books. The excitement level for these new titles was staggering - everyone who caught even a glimpse of all our wonderful projects on display walked away all a'twitter with ideas for new classes and store displays.
Our live demos using Lesley Riley's TAP® Transfer Artist Paper attracted plenty of passers-by. Everyone was duly impressed with how perfect each transfer came out - really clear and vibrant. We also heard lots of oooh's and ahhh's every time we showed our beautiful samples of "tapped" fabric that had been washed, and washed, and washed again—TAP takes a licking and keeps on ticking. TAP is shipping this month...make sure your order is in the queue, you are sure to sell out! There are happy Tappers everywhere!
In addition to our fabulous line-up of Schoolhouse and Take-n-Teach sessions, we hosted our first Surface Design Center workshop where shop owners got in some quality time with their creative side - everyone had an absolute blast painting on fabric and Lutradur. If you haven't seen the delight that glows in people’s eyes while they are splashing around in paint, then you need to talk to your C&T Sales Rep about getting our Liquitex® Surface Design Center in your shop right away!
C&T authors were on hand signing books all throughout the show, making long lines of booklovers very happy—in our booth as well as in the Checker, Petersen Arne, EE Schenk, Brewer, and United Notions booths.
