Support Quilts for Warriors header

We all know that soldiers can go through a tough time making the transition from active duty to civilian life – especially if they are also struggling to heal from wounds received while they served. That's where Quilts for Warriors comes in.

Comforting Quilts for Wounded Warriors
The program's goal is to create 10,000 quilts by July 4, 2008, one for each wounded soldier stationed at the 33 US Army Warriors in Transition Units worldwide. These quilts will send a special message to each warrior – thank you and get well soon!

Join Us in Making 10,000 Quilts by July 4th
We invite you to join C&T Publishing in helping make quilts for our returning soldiers. Here's how your shop can take part:

  • Sign up to participate at www.quiltsforwarriors.com.
  • Download the FREE quilt patterns available at www.quiltsforwarriors.com or from our website, www.ctpub.com (Sales Support > Free Patterns). You will also find downloadable quilt tags to personalize the quilts you make with messages from the makers.
  • Tell your customers about the program and encourage them to join in. Event idea sheets, ready-to-personalize press releases, and program logos for your newsletter, store signage, and website are also available at www.quiltsforwarriors.com. For information about where to send your finished quilts, contact Connect and Join at l-888-729-9828. All quilts must include a quilt sleeve. A quilt label with the quilter's name would be appreciated. (Please do not send finished quilts to C&T Publishing.)
  • Share your stories and messages with other participants. The Idea Bulletin Board at quiltsforwarriors.com welcomes your ideas, event photos, success stories, messages to the soldiers, and more.

First Quilts Presented This Month
The first completed quilts were presented to wounded soldiers on April 24 at the Pentagon Courtyard on "Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work" Day by Connect and Join.

C&T Publishing will be working to help Connect and Join meet the 10,000-quilt goal. Won't you join us? Please contact Connect and Join if you have any questions about the program.
