Author Jessica Schick creates quilting designs for a living so she really knows what she’s doing. The designs in Quilting by Design are for all types of machines—domestic, midarm, and longarm and she give you several options for getting the designs onto your quilt. 

While you can use the designs as they are presented, the thing I love the most about this book is that Jessica explains step-by-step how to modify quilting designs to fill the exact spaces you need to quilt in. Using a free graphics program that you can download from the Internet (or a program such as Adobe Illustrator, if you have it), you become the master of your quilting—sizing it and shaping it to be exactly what you need using either the myriad designs that are providedwith the book or designs that you already have on your computer.
