Beatrix Potter Playing Cards

Beatrix Potter Playing Cards

I am so excited to share with you some wonderful news! Almost twelve months ago I received an intriguing email, and when I had finished reading it I was full of joy and excitement . . . and now I can share that joy and excitement with you!

C&T Publishing had emailed to say they were planning to add a new item to their wonderful gift range, and they asked me if I would be interested in the idea of producing playing cards using the designs from my Stitching with Beatrix Potter book! I was so thrilled and honored and of course embraced the idea immediately—how many of us can say our designs are featured on playing cards? And playing cards are not just for quilters, as they suit all ages and people across the world.

It seems so long ago that idea was discussed and now they are finally available for you! The cards feature blocks from the Nursery quilt and also my reproduction version of the 1863 wedding quilt that belonged to Beatrix Potter’s parents. Of course all of these patterns are in the book, where you can learn more and make your own versions.

The packs of cards make such wonderful and very affordable gifts for family and friends and would also be ideal as stocking fillers at Christmas time.

Thank you so much to the team at C&T Publishing for making this possible . . . I am chuffed to bits! You can see more of this story on my blog here: https://williammorrisandmichele.blogspot.com/2018...
